Investigations took place last week in the Year 11 and Year 12 biology lessons.

Year 11 boys studied the effect of power drinks on a 'model cell'.  The model cells were weighed and then placed in boiling tubes containing drinks that were purported to be hypotonic, isotonic or hypertonic to the blood glucose concentration. The results are yet to be discovered...
