Goodbye to Faye Meek
Today we said farewell to Dr Faye Meek, Sixth Form Administrator for the last ten years. She has been a vital part of the team and will be sincerely missed by all students and staff.
The Sixth Form team have written some words;
“Dr Faye Meek arrived from Harvington School in Ealing (where she had been the Head) as Sixth Form Administrator in 2006. She made an instant impact and her wealth of experience has been key to the success of the present Sixth Form. Not only an individual who has fantastic administrative skills she has been the lead teacher of the EPQ and mentor to a number of science students. She is highly respected by the students and the staff, her expertise has been invaluable and Faye is the person we always turn to for advice. A tremendous team player she has helped out at many social or fundraising events and will do whatever is asked of her, even sewing boy’s trousers which have split. We will all miss her and wish her all the best as she retires from the teaching profession but continues with her role as Chair of Biology for AQA.”
