Excelling at the ISA Art Competition

There was plenty to celebrate at the ISA Regional Art Competition with Claires Court winning an impressive amount of awards.
Jan Price, Head of Art commented;
“Without wishing to single out any section in particular, I am particularly proud to see that Sixth Form swept the board (first, second and Highly Commended from a field of about 30 entries) in the KS5 Art and also won first and second in Photography. Junior Boys came away with three firsts which is just fantastic! Well done everyone.
Whilst our GCSE entries from Senior Boys and Senior Girls were all of extremely high quality, there were 40/50 entries in this section so it was always going to be a tough category, however in another competition I am sure they would have trounced the opposition!
Well done to the Art and Photography departments and thanks again for all your hard work and excellent organisation.”
Here’s the full list of winners from Claires Court. Those placed in first place will go on to the National Finals on 11 and 12 November.
