Girls GCSE Devised Pieces
On Wednesday 16 November the GCSE Drama group performed their devised improvisation scenes to a packed house and an appreciative audience in the Chapel - many girls came from year 9,10 and 11 to support the group and were inspired by the work the girls had created.
Mrs Warren, Head of Drama said, “Each group performed in different styles of drama, tackling issues from dementia, psychotic mental issues and deep nightmares. They used Physical Theatre and Artauds Theories on 'Theatre of Cruelty'. The pieces were amazing and the constant focus in the characterisation was fluent throughout.
