Caring For Baby Lambs
The reception girls were very lucky to be invited to pupil Charlotte’s farm.
Charlotte often tells her Reception class stories about the animals on her farm so it was great for the girls to see this in real life!
Suzanne James, Reception Teacher, said;
“Charlotte and her parents showed us the lambing pens and we were lucky enough to see a lamb who was only ten minutes old. The girls were able to hold and feed the lambs which caused a lot of excitement! Lily and Joanna were very helpful and moved some of the older lambs into a shared pen. When it was time to leave Tabitha said 'I don't want to go home, I want to live on this farm'! All the reception girls would like to say a huge thank you to Mr and Mrs Burfitt.”
