St Luke’s Christmas Tree Decorating
This year Junior Girls, Senior Girls and Sixth Form went to St Luke’s Church to decorate Christmas Trees as part of their Christmas Tree Festival.
Each year group involved had a theme for the decorations they used.
Year 6’s was Babushkas, Year 3 made lanterns and Year 4 and 5 had a bauble theme.
The Sixth Form decorated their tree with beautiful snowflakes cut out by the students in quiet reflection time with Mrs Rogers at the Monday lunchtime sessions. Although sometimes the cutting out felt more stressful than relaxing, especially when Mr Giles managed to cut the wrong parts and needed emergency sellotape to rescue the snowflakes. The Sixth Form tree looks beautiful and can be seen by the students when they attend the Carol Service on Tuesday 13 December.
