Young Voices Sing at Albert Hall

Fifty Claires Court Junior pupils sang, danced and beat boxed with great enthusiasm at the Young Voices concert held at the Royal Albert Hall on Wednesday 7 December. In aid of CLIC Sargent, the concert gave the pupils the opportunity to sing with 1800 other young people at the hugely iconic venue.
Months of work had gone into preparing around eight songs performed by the Junior Girls and Junior Boys choirs. The pupils sang with professional soloists and were wowed by the dance troupes accompanying them.
Some of the children commented after the event;
"The Albert Hall is amazing and it was brilliant to sing there. I loved the beat boxers" Nyle
“I think the Albert Hall was really good, there were so many songs and it was such a great experience to sing in front of so many people” Karina
"The atmosphere was amazing. The size of the hall was very impressive and the crowd was inspiring" Alex
'It was an amazing experience to do something for CLIC Sargent, my friend Daisy stood up on stage, she was very brave' (We heard the story of Daisy who contracted bone cancer and was undergoing treatment. Her mother spoke of the support given to their family by CLIC Sargent)”. Claudia
"It was amazing looking down from where we were, right in the top row. I would definitely do it again" Jonah
'It was great to learn to beatbox' Shraddha
