For their term’s topic 'Life in Space'’, Nursery children discussed what there is in space and what it would be like for us to travel in space.
Using their creativity and imagination the children travelled through space in their own space station, walked on the moon using stilts to feel like they had space boots on and created aliens from clay.
Tara Ainsley, Nursery teacher said;
“The children have really enjoyed exploring various non-fiction books about space and have learnt many words such as; galaxy, atmosphere, oxygen, satellite and space station. They’re even learning all the names of the planets and some factual information about them.”
