Finding Information on The Great Fire of London
This week Year 2 girls embarked on a trip to the National Archives to look at sources of evidence from The Great Fire of London. The girls looked at maps that showed how far the fire had spread and how much of London had been destroyed.
They enjoyed looking at copies of actual documents from 1666 and 1667 that showed that some of the things they knew about the Great Fire to be true.
The girls thoroughly enjoyed their morning. At the end of the trip Holly in Year 2 said "This is the most interesting school trip I have ever been on!" and Ava said "I want to be a historian when I grow up!"
