Things are Cooking Up in the Nursery
On Wednesday afternoon’s the Nursery children enjoy a ‘cold cookery’ activity.
This involves the girls and boys learning to use equipment, including knives, safely and to develop techniques such as mixing and kneading when making bread, spreading and cutting when making sandwiches and cutting, spooning and mixing when making pasta salads.
Recently, the children learned about hygiene and kitchen safety was discussed as part of the Golden Rules for cookery.
