At Holiday Club children grabbed their passports and got ready to travel around the world. Each day was a different country and the boys and girls collected stamps from each country they visited, including: Mexico, Italy, India, China and USA. The children learned about the different cultures, tried tasty traditional foods and picked up some of the language.

Some of the cultural activities they enjoyed were Chinese dancing with bamboo sticks, a tricky pick-up game with chopsticks, cushion making and Indian cookery, as well as other crafts and fun games based around the various countries.

Over at Sport Xtra boys and girls developed and refined their football skills before putting them to the test in friendly, but competitive matches. The cold weather didn’t bother the children as they just ran faster to keep warm!
