Exploring Patterns from Across the World
Earlier this week Claires Court Year 8 girls went on an Art trip to Oxford to explore the Pitt Rivers and Ashmolean museums.
The trip forms part of their Lent Term project on Pattern and pupils were introduced to a wide range of patterned objects from around the world.
They were taken around the museums and received talks by expert staff to help them better understand the collections and the role of pattern within them. Some beautiful drawings were produced from the day and some excellent research collected to work on back at school.
