Up Close To The Work Of Fashion Designers

Year 10 Textiles girls visited the Victoria and Albert Museum in London on Tuesday 14 March, and had a very enjoyable day! The girls visited the general fashion exhibition at the V&A where they had the opportunity to take photos and collect postcards for their GCSE Component 1 project.
Their current theme is "The Natural World" and there were many textile art pieces from artists like William Morris and work from fashions designers like Vivienne Westwood which have inspired the girls to carry out further art and fabric studies.
