The event had a theme of Alice in Wonderland and carried this through in two competitions - a Bake Off Cake Competition and a Mad Hatter hat competition, the latter of which was judged by Mrs Phyllis Avery MBE, President of the Claires Court PTA.

In addition to the ‘hunt’ and competitions, there were two bouncy castles for the children to use their energies on as well as a chocolate fountain, plenty of refreshments and cakes for those who wished for tea and cake as well as hot dogs, to be enjoyed by all.

A little spring sunshine wouldn’t have gone amiss but even without that, all enjoyed a fun morning with time to watch the finals of the Sixth Nations in the afternoon!
