Taking on a Muddy Course for Charity

Last weekend some Year 12 pupils took on a big challenge and completed the tough mudder course. The students involved were Tom Stalker, Isaac Challis, Matt Hine and Billy Gore with ex pupil Ella, Tom’s sister joining them as team leader as they needed someone over 18. The team were raising funds for Reuben’s Fight and raised over a fantastic £1,000! An incredible achievement.
It was a difficult course, consisting of 25 obstacles on a course of more than 10 miles. They completed it in 3.5 hours, and were so quick they kept catching up with the people in front of them.
We hope you enjoy seeing the very muddy photos of them all. This is what they said about the experience.
Matt Hine:
“It was Tough and Muddy!”
Tom Stalker
“It was an achievement and very motivational knowing that we were doing it for a good cause”
Billy Gore
“It was a hard but enjoyable experience – I would do it all again!”
Isaac Challis
“It was exhilarating and adrenaline fuelled, with camaraderie above competition.”
