Boys Experience a WW2 Air Raid
Year 5 boys experienced what it was like to sit in an Air Raid Shelter during a World War II air raid during a visit to the RAF Museum.
An Air Raid Precaution Warden from World War II gave them an insight into life during the war. They also dressed up in authentic RAF uniforms whilst discovering the many roles that make up a flight team. The boys enjoyed studying the progression of flight from the early bicycle driven gliders to the modern day jets.
