Year 1 Finish Their China Topic In Style
Year 1 finished their China topic by having a mini Chinese New Year celebration.
The boys tried all different kinds of food such as seaweed, noodles, egg fried rice, spring rolls, chicken wontons, fortune cookies, prawn toast, prawn crackers and green tea.
The boys tried hard to eat this food with c
hopsticks but most did end up using a spoon.
In the afternoon the boys decorated their Chinese Dragon with lots of tissue paper and went outside to be joined by the other Year 1 classes music lesson. They played the cymbals and tambourine for the boys while they took the dragon on a parade.
It was a fantastic day and the boys were still asking for more chinese food the next morning when they arrived!
