Splashing Around at Beale Park

Although choosing the hottest day of the year to visit Beale Park, this didn't stop the Lower Juniors having the best time. Once they arrived they had a quick snack and drink which was needed after the hot coach journey.

After that it was time to see all the different types of animals, these ranged from monkeys, to parrots to meerkats and even a huge tortoise much, much bigger than the girls school tortoise Shelly! Before they knew it was time for lunch, so they found a shJunior Girls Swimming at Beale Parkady spot and tucked into sandwiches and drinks.

The girls were hoping to go on the train ride after lunch but unfortunately it had broken down! But fear not as this didn't worry the girls who instead got a chance to wander in the Jubilee Gardens looking at the incredible flowers. After all their walking they it was time to cool down in the paddling pool and as you can imagine there was a lot of splashing and excitement!  To top the day off - the teachers treated all the girls to an ice cream!
