All groups have been exploring the Lost World... discovering frozen dinosaur eggs on scavenger hunts, creating Jurassic-themed arts & crafts and taking part in Jurassic themed games including searching for dinosaur eggs with baby dinosaurs hidden in them! Our Mini group started the week by creating STEGGY the dinosaur, made entirely out of recyclables, which wowed children during the week.

Our Kool Xtra Cookery talked about fossils and recreated an archaeological dig made from biscuits, brownies and cake all cooked during the day. Kool Xtra Stem Club constructed buildings and had lots of fun testing their stability. Kool Xtra Digital Media took part in a Stop Animation beginners workshop creating their first mini movies!

Sport Xtra were blessed with fine warm conditions and were able to make full use of the excellent coaches and facilities as they developed their rugby skills.

What a busy week. We look forward to what they’ll get up to next week with a rather spoooooky theme ahead.
