Meet A Pupil
Jessica - Year 10
Jessica joined Claires Court in Year 7, and loves getting involved in as many extra-curricular activities as she can.
Jessica’s favourite subjects are drama and German. At the moment she’s enjoying learning a mini scripted piece from the play ‘Hard to Swallow’, and she’s learning about how to talk about books, films and free time in German.
When asked how she’d describe the school in three words, she responded: “friendly, all inclusive, and exciting”.

“I try to get involved in school life as much as possible - I love going on trips, singing in the choir, and performing in school plays and concerts. Last year I was in the production of ‘We Will Rock You’ and also in ‘A Night at the Movies’ which featured song, dance, performance and music from movie soundtracks. I’m hoping to pursue a career in acting and musical theatre and the school offers so much to get involved in which is brilliant!
“I think the teaching here is really good - all the teachers are really nice, good at explaining, and are very approachable so if I need help with anything I can see them at break time or during lunchtime. It’s a very nurturing environment and the school has a really nice feel to it. For anyone new joining the school, my advice would be to not be nervous as you make friends really quickly and everyone is in the same boat.”
