Full-time School Nurse

We are seeking to appoint a qualified School Nurse to join our team at Claires Court School. This is a full-time role covering the hours of 8.30am – 4.00pm 5 days a week. Your work will primarily be based at our Junior Boys site during term time and for Holiday Club during the school holidays.

As School Nurse, you will be able to promote and provide a clinically effective, high-quality service of nursing care to pupils and first aid care to all members of the school community.

This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic Nurse to join our highly committed and professional team in leading the promotion of good health, physical and mental; providing a holistic approach to the care of pupils, which includes illness/injury assessment & treatment and encompasses the emotional and psychological wellbeing of our pupils.

This is an ideal role for a knowledgeable, friendly and independent individual who is able to work well under pressure with a confident and calm nature.

The amendments to the Exceptions Order 1975 (2013) provide that certain spent convictions and cautions are “protected” and not subject to disclosure to employers and cannot be taken into account.  Guidance and criteria on the filtering of these cautions and convictions can be found on the Disclosure and Barring Service websiteHaving a criminal record will not necessarily bar you from working with us: this will depend on the nature of the position and the circumstances and background of your offence(s).
