Learning Philosophy
The Claires Court ‘Essentials’ are the core of our learning philosophy.
From the early Nursery days learning fun but challenging and from that springboard we focus on developing a variety of skills and behaviours that young people need to be a successful learner and individual in this fast paced world. As they mature, pupils are expected to stretch themselves and push their own boundaries and limitations; we believe it is good to be wrong as long as we learn from that experience and bounce back.
We aim to develop boys and girls learning confidence and resilience, and become learners who are:
- Critical thinkers
- Risk-takers
- Reflective
- Communicators
- Problem solvers
- Inquirers
- Collaborative
- Creative
Take a look at the Curriculum Statements in the division that is relevant for your child to see how we put this into practice.
