Menus & Dining

Please select the relevant division for menus, prices and related allergen information.

Within the School we operate a cashless catering system for payment of meals and snacks.  Your child’s Cashless Catering account can be checked via the Parent Pay Portal area on the School website. This also includes a summary of your child’s food purchases.

The set spending limit per day for Seniors and Sixth Form is £7, however this can be either increased or decreased by contacting our Catering Manager.

Our dedicated No.6 Bistro is open for the Sixth Form only and prices for this are advertised at the point of purchase.

If you have any queries about our food provision or questions regarding your child’s purchases using cashless catering, please contact Karen Barker, Catering Manager on KRB@clairescourt.com or 01628 327371.

Allergen Information

Allergen Legislation

From 13 December 2014, the School is required to implement the new Allergen Legislation.

All dining customers, including pupils, parents, staff and visitors will be able to access allergy information on all loose foods (those not in a labelled packet) supplied by the school.

Which allergens will be reported? Cereal containing gluten, fish, peanuts, soya, crustaceans, sulphur dioxide, nuts, milk, celery, egg, mustard, sesame, lupin, molluscs.

Where can I find this information? Information folders will be maintained in each dining room and servery. Other items served elsewhere will have lists with them or nearby for reference. From this date the School website will also include detailed allergen reporting with the menus, and a revised Allergy and Dining Policy.

What does this mean for me? All those consuming food within the School are encouraged to ask for information on any item served. The School also requires anyone bringing in “homemade” food items for events such as cake sales and birthdays to provide the appropriate allergy information.

Where can I find further information or guidance? Please visit the Food Standards Agency website - food.gov.uk/business-industry/allergy-guide. Should you have any further questions, please contact the School Office.

NO NUTS IN SCHOOL

As always all nuts, and items containing nuts, are banned from the School, including packed lunches, events and trips.
