Closing Date | Friday 6 January 2023 |

Announcement of results | Friday 10 February 2023 |
Acceptance of offers | Required within 28 days |
All candidates participate in two sessions on the examination day which take place between 9am and 11.30am. During the sessions they will be assessed on their underlying ability and academic skill set in English and Maths.
Successful applicants for academic awards will have a proven track record of academic excellence. Where evidence exists outside of Claires Court that confirms this status, this should be provided to the Registrar for consideration. For example, applicants are likely to be listed on their primary school Gifted & Talented or Scholarship Register. Whilst we understand there may be a desire to prepare for the assessments, they are predominantly skills based and therefore cannot be 'prepared' for.
The English paper is split into two 30 minute sections. The first part is a comprehension and grammar exercise and the second section requires an essay response to a scenario.
The Maths paper is a standard assessment paper.
