Pastoral Care
In our 2014 ISI report, inspectors found the quality of our arrangements for pastoral care to be ‘excellent’. We believe the arrangements in place to support your son’s happiness will ensure he is successful and by the time he leaves the school he will have a high level of personal development and well-being.
Your son's form teacher will provide close support and guidance and there is a sense of trust and approachability within our community which teachers, pupils and parents value greatly.
A boy’s personal development generally revolves around our core values of responsibility, respect, loyalty and integrity. The Claires Court Key Value Award incorporates all these aspects of good citizenship. Pupils are nominated by staff and peers recognising those whose conduct, in their view, has been exemplary.
The pastoral care of the pupils throughout the school is a major factor in the high levels of success they enjoy and their outstanding personal development
