Academic
The curriculum is broad and varied, it stimulates and challenges all boys, ensuring excellent academic achievement and embedded learning skills that will hold them in good stead for the future.
The Curriculum
During Key Stage 3, (Years 7, 8, 9) your son will study an extensive range of subjects, leading to a wide choice of academic, vocational and creative options at GCSE. Learning is skills based and often embedded through experience, with field trips, workshops, museum and theatre visits complementing and enriching his study.
The very high level of success enjoyed by pupils is seen not only in class, but also in the myriad of activities, individual and collaborative endeavours, and in their attitudes for study and learning.

The Essentials
The Claires Court learning philosophy drives our academic curriculum, known as The Essentials. Through this we will build your son’s learning confidence and resilience. Pupils are expected to stretch themselves, to push their own boundaries and limits and to be entrepreneurial. Our boys know it is okay to be wrong, so long as they learn from that experience and bounce back.
