Years 7 - 9
As well as boys joining us from our Junior Boys School, pupils join Senior Boys from many other local primary, international and independent schools.
In the early days, we will assess your son and learn more about his current capabilities and aptitude and benchmark it against standardised national baseline tests.
Boys study: Art, Design & Technology, Drama, English, Geography, History, ICT, Mathematics, Modern Foreign Languages (French, German, Spanish), Music, Physical Education (PE), PSHEE, Religious Studies and Science.
Allowing boys to study the Arts and Technology up to and including Year 9, means that as they mature they also develop a better appreciation of Art and Design and have the confidence to perform and participate in Drama. This exposure is key to helping young boys become well-rounded individuals and allows them make informed choices for GCSE.
Hear from Mr Miller, Head of Year 7 about how we manage the transition to Senior Boys and the opportunities on offer.
