Claires Court Maidenhead

from Nursery to Sixth Form

Senior Girls learning
The broad and challenging curriculum at Claires Court is the basis for our girls’ excellent academic achievements.

The enquiry based programme creates an exciting and stimulating work environment where your daughter will be happy and motivated to learn.

The Curriculum

During Years 7, 8 and 9 of Senior Girls, your daughter will study a wide range of subjects, leading to an extensive choice of academic, creative and vocational options at GCSE, in Years 10 and 11. Much of your daughter's learning will extend outside the classroom, with field trips, workshops, museum and theatre visits complementing and enriching the curriculum.

Across the school, the academic curriculum provides a broad and coherent education for pupils of all ages, and fully supports the learning principles and philosophy of the School, and the high level of pupils’ achievements.

The Essentials

The academic curriculum is underpinned with The Essentials - the Claires Court learning philosophy. Our aim is to build learning confidence and resilience. Pupils are expected to stretch themselves, to push their own boundaries and limits and to be entrepreneurial. Our girls know it is okay to be wrong, so long as they learn from that experience and bounce back.

Through our engaging curriculum and the use of digital technologies our aim is to inspire curious minds and help your daughter find her niche and develop the skills needed to embrace the challenges of our ever changing world.

Scholarships are available to girls of outstanding achievement, talent and potential.
