Years 10 and 11
During Key Stage 4 (Years 10 and 11) your daughter will be focusing on her selected GCSE subjects.
She will have developed good learning and work habits and with her tutor, she will start to compile her Pupil Action Plan. This is an on-going document which records her achievement and effort grades, her individual work targets and reflects her GCSE aspirations. As in Year 7, pupils undertake baseline testing, which will help inform current capabilities and aptitude for learning against a standardised national background which helps set targets for the future.
Girls in the older years take on roles of responsibility and leadership, with Year 10 supporting the Junior Girls at Sports Day and Year 11 pupils taking up Head Girl, Deputy and prefect roles.
Pupils’ attitudes to their work and their enthusiasm for learning are outstanding.”
