This year, Claires Court pupils competed in the ISA Musical Theatre competition for KS2-KS5 which is held annually to showcase the ISA's most talented singers and actors across the country. Judges were looking for quality of tone, technique, interpretation, dynamics and stage presence.
Junior Boy, Ben, submitted his rendition of 'Close Every Door To Me', from Joseph and the Amazing Technicolour Dreamcoat.
Emma Stevenson, Head of Music for Junior Girls and Boys, said: "Ben sings in and out of school. He is an excellent classical singer and displays great control, and clearly has a natural gift. We had such a high standard of submissions and it is clear we have a lot of musical talent at Claires Court."
Amelie, Senior Girl, placed 2nd in her age category with her fantastic cover of 'What Baking Can Do' from Waitress. Both entries competed against over 200 other entries.
